Baron Analysis
The main author Dennis Baron covers a very interesting topic about technology and how it has affected our lives over the past hundreds of years. Us as humans are always trying to improve ourselves and our communities around us. By this we have to be creative with what we do and invent new things that do not exist yet to make what we already have better. This can either be adding airbags to a car or safety fire equipment to a building. But Barron goes over more controversial stuff such the integration of new technology and how it affected our societies. For example when calculators were implemented into classrooms, teachers would not approve of them since they facilitated the students when solving math equations. Now as this was a pro in terms of productivity, the teachers viewed it in a negative manner because they believed it would decrease the mental performance of these students meaning that they wouldn’t learn the content and just depend on the calculator to do the work for them. Similarly to this, when companies started putting erasers on pencils teachers also despised this because students wouldn’t have to worry and stay attentive to making mistakes, again decreasing their mental performance on the subject.
At the end of the document, Baron’s point is effectively put out by getting across that the technological advances that we experience are not hard to adapt too at all, but they are things we should consider in implementing into our lives because how at the same time they have pros, they also have cons that can make it not worth at all.

Is Technology Improving our Lives
In Rabbi Jason Miller’s article regarding the advancements of technology, the main argument pertains to this crazy era that we are witnessing change our lives. Now to everything there is a good side and a bad side. Miller separates the new inventions into 3 different categories. One category consists of technology that ranges from the fun to the mindless. The second category includes technology that improves our lives, but doesn’t solve our most pressing issues. The third is the technology that will solve the greatest ills of the 21st century. This is a well made and laid out article as it allows the reader to comprehend the different perspectives that this author has towards these new gadgets and how he really looks at it in a smart way. I enjoyed reading how he put video games and apps where they’re supposed to be, meaning that they are useless, uber as a useful tool but not something we wouldn’t be able to live without and new medical devices that will save lives as the important factor to this technological era. This didn’t really change my perspective on technology as I thought of it in the same way but it was nice to see that I am not the only one that thinks like this.

The 6 Main Ways Technology Impacts Your Daily Life
Zlatko Stojanov expresses in his article the different ways technology has impacted our daily lives. Now, after reading this I did seem to feel like it was somewhat boring but at the same time he was stating all the true facts towards this subject. His first point on “improved communication” I really appreciated because he goes over how all these new apps and advancements in devices has led us to keep in touch and stay closer to those that we have in long distance. I can relate to this well since I had my dad living in Madrid when I moved to California a few years ago, and it led me to keep in touch with him every day. The app I would use to call is Whatsapp and the feature of free calls was very convenient as I went from buying those pre-paid call cards that I would buy at a pharmacy to saving a lot of money. Another point he went over was the “convenience in transportation” and how it has shaped our world into a more international shape. The means of this transportation has connected all of our markets into one benefiting the economies of each and every country. Stojanov does a good job on expressing the ways these advancements in technology have affected our lives and what it yet has to change as well.
I agree as well...without modern technology it would be really hard to communicate with family and friends long distance. Now there are endless ways to communicate and share ideas with the community. It's also amazing how there are many more than one app created specially for long distance contact.
